According to President, Kazakhstan and China have similar views on major issues of regional and international security in the multilateral track.
– We maintain constructive dialogue and mutual support in the framework of the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia. We highly value and support the initiatives proposed by China on global development, global security and global civilisation. I believe they will make a positive contribution to strengthening the modern international security architecture, – the President said.
In turn, the Chinese Defence Minister Dong Jun, expressed gratitude to the Head of State for the hospitality extended and noted the meticulous preparation that had been undertaken for the meeting of the SCO Defence Ministers.
During the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in developing collaborative initiatives in the areas of peacekeeping, education, and military-technical cooperation.
