The recent visit of high-ranking Chinese representatives to the Almaty Alexander Seleznyov Choreographic School marked a new stage in strengthening cultural and educational ties between Kazakhstan and China.
The Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Almaty, Mrs. Jiang Wei, and the presidents of the largest Chinese companies – China National Petroleum Corporation CNPC in Central Asia and Russia, Mr. Bian Dizhi, and Petro Kazakhstan, Mr. Yang Mingyu, met with the school’s management and teaching staff.
During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the educational process and the rich 90-year history of the school. Special attention was paid to the concert organized by students of the school, demonstrating the high level of skill and talent of young artists.
Ms. Jiang Wei expressed her admiration for the level of students’ training and hoped to further develop cultural exchange between our two countries. Mr. Bian Dizhi handed over a money voucher to the school, symbolizing the support and long-term commitment to cooperation in the field of culture and education.
Mr. Murat Tukeyev, Acting Director of the school, accepted this sign of partnership with gratitude, noting the importance of such support for further development of the educational institution and strengthening of international relations.
The visit ended with the guests’ interaction with students and teachers, where they discussed training issues and prospects for the development of choreographic art in the region.
This event was an important step towards deepening friendly relations and mutual understanding between China and Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of cultural dialogue in the modern world.
