Issues of organization of launch of international tourist passenger train from Xi’an to Almaty were discussed during the working meeting of the heads of JSC “NC ‘KTZh’, JSC ‘Passenger Transportation’ and the delegation of the government of Xi’an (PRC), Phoenix 24 reports.
As informed in JSC “Passenger Transportation”, the tourist train will run through the border crossing Khorgos-Altynkol on the schedule of passenger train number 103/104 message “Urumqi-Almaty-2”.
The train will stay at Almaty-2 station for several days.
During this time, the Kazakh side will provide security measures and assistance in organizing cultural events at the railway station for passengers, said the press service of the carrier.
