The crew, consisting only of girls, made the first flight in the history of the flight practice of the Academy of Civil Aviation at the Taraz airfield. The historical crew consisted of instructor pilot Adelina Lutsenko and student Ekaterina Stepina. The girls took off on a single-engine Tecnam 2002JF training aircraft.
“The sensations are basically the same as during any other flight with a student. For me, this is a self-evident situation. I myself had two female instructors during my training. Despite this, I also felt proud. After all, the first female crew of the academy, and at the same time it is sad that this happened only in 2024,” says Adelina. Now two students are assigned to the young instructor, whom the girl will accompany during flight practice.
