
The Interior Ministry recalled the need to register mopeds, Phoenix 24 reports.
“- Dear citizens! We remind you that there are only a little more than two weeks left to register the mopeds. After April 5, driving an unregistered moped will be considered a violation of the law. In case of detection of such an offense, liability is provided for in accordance with part 2 of Article 590 of the Administrative Code. Currently, 8,527 mopeds are registered in the republic. To register, you need to contact the Special Center at your place of residence. You must have identification documents with you, and you can provide a technical passport or information about the technical characteristics of the moped in electronic form. Fill out the application. Inspect the moped. Pay state fees for vehicle registration, issuance of a registration certificate and license plate. Do not delay registration! Take care of the compliance of your moped with the requirements of the law in advance to avoid “unpleasant consequences,“ – said the head of the department, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shyngys Alekeshev.
